Sowing Solidarity: Anyone Can Make an Impact at Sisters
Today marks the beginning of our Sowing Solidarity campaign, and the possibilities to support Sisters of the Road this giving season are boundless.
Join us in Sowing Solidarity as we work collectively to combat the violence of poverty.
So many ways to give
We’re also participating in Willamette Week’s Give!Guide alongside dozens of other local nonprofits.
Today (Nov. 1st) also marks the first Big Give Day. Anyone who gives $10 or more today has a chance to win a three-night stay at one of three SCP Hotels across Oregon. Visit giveguide.org to learn more.
We also have some exciting incentives and business partners to make your gift through Give!Guide even more rewarding:
Be among the first 20 new donors to give $120 or more and receive a $20 gift card to Fermenter.
The first 10 donors to give any amount and share their story on our Memory Fox profile will receive a complimentary bag of Cup of Joe limited supply of Sisters “New Friend” blend.
If you're under 35 and donate at least $35, you'll get a digital $10 gift card to Scottie’s Pizza Parlor.
Stop by ShooFly Vegan Bakery on Wednesday, Nov. 22nd. They’ll be generously donating 20% of their sales to Sisters of the Road.
Stop by Secret Pizza Society all through the month of November and order their Vegan Mac n Cheeze Bowl for $10. All proceeds from this dish will go to Sisters of the Road.
Anyone can make an impact
Our Sowing Solidarity campaign aims to raise funds for our general expenses and Systemic Change Programs. We are a community-based organization and we rely on your support to keep doing what we do.
Not everyone can donate $500 today, but you can still make a $500 impact by helping us fundraise. If you know 10 people that can give $50, that is $500. If you know 30 people that can give $20, that is $600. Or maybe someone can only spare $5 each month. A monthly donation of $5 adds up to $60 a year and for us, that sustained support is Sisters’ foundation. Become a fundraiser today!

Stronger together
For us, Sowing Solidarity is more than just a slogan. It's about breaking down silos and collaborating closely with other nonprofits in our community. While many organizations are seeking support this year, we view it as an opportunity for cooperation, not competition. We firmly believe that our collective strength is far greater than the sum of our individual efforts.
This year, we’re partnering with nine other nonprofits featured in Give!Guide; FinAbility, Kindness Farm, Neighbors for Clean Air, Hygiene4All, Milk Crate Kitchen, Rose Haven, and Street Roots are all joining forces to underscore the significance of our collective efforts in benefitting our community.
